Derby Auction 2025

This auction raises Equine-Assisted Mental Health Scholarships those in need of hope and healing. From the adolescent who was trafficked and is relearning trust and new boundaries, to the aged out foster youth who is developing self confidence and breaking addiction to  Military Sexual Trauma and Combat Veterans who need our support.

Some fun items here from Specialized bike, to international trips and handcrafted western quilt. The most unique are the beautiful hand-crafted one-of-a-kind pieces of artwork.

The Veteran who created these pens went through Hearts Landing Ranch Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy Program in Fall of 2024 and was so appreciative of what he got out of it, he would like to help other Veterans have the same healing opportunity.  Proceeds go directly towards mental health scholarships for those in desperate need of hope and healing.

Hearts Landing Ranch is an Award Winning 501(c)3 Non Profit Serving Greater Sacramento and Placer County areas with Equine-Assisted Learning and Mental Health Programs for at risk youth to first responders and veterans.  Equine-Assisted mental health therapy takes therapy outside and is a proven method effective in treating the individual, families and teams.  Our Therapy Teams write curriculum with ground based activities leveraging the horses nature and need for safety and security and the human desire to connect.  The clients know their deep story, the wordless places and the activities and horse interactions help provide insight.
